Paid to your stockbroker for executing the trade. Ranges from 0.70% (Stanbic E-Trade) to 1.37% (Chapel Hill). The largest single fee.
🏠 SEC Levy
0.30% of transaction value paid to the Securities and Exchange Commission Nigeria. Applied on both buy and sell transactions.
📈 NGX and CSCS Fees
0.30% each to the Nigerian Exchange (for market infrastructure) and CSCS (for settlement and share custody). Standard on all trades.
📍 Stamp Duty (Buy Only)
0.075% stamp duty is applied only on purchase transactions — not on sales. A small government tax on equity acquisitions.
